Community Gardens

  • The Hidden Gardens - A beautiful public oasis located in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow. It is urban greenspace where you can relax away from the busy city streets, discover nature, get creative and connect with friends and neighbours.
  • Woodlands Community - Community Meeting Room, Garden and Cafe
  • Lambhill Stables Community Garden - Our community Garden is a site of natural beauty bordered by the forth and clyde canal on one side and possil marsh on the other.
  • Coach House Trust - We provide training in gardening through our two gardening centres at Belmont Lane and Alderman Road.
  • G3 Growers (Facebook) - aka The Back Garden Flourishing community garden based in the heart of Glasgow. 19-ish Brechin St G3 7HF. Near Kent Road, Berkeley Street and behind Argyle Street, Finnieston.
  • Willow Bank Community Garden - The Willowbank Community Garden is a council-maintained recreational area consisting of both turfed and concreted areas and waist raised beds, edged by some shrubs and trees.
  • Elder Farm Community Garden (old site) - Formerly known as LEGUP Glasgow, the Elder Farm Community is based in the grounds of the remaining Fairfield Farm Steading at Linthouse.
  • North Glasgow Community Food Initiative: Gardening - We can support you to learn to grow your own fruit and veg. We have a community garden at Milton, allotments at Springburn and Hamiltonhill and growing spaces such as raised beds in Milton and Royston. More information is available in our Food Hub Section.
  • See also Stalled Spaces - Stalled Spaces is a programme introduced by Glasgow City Council to support community groups and local organisations across the city develop temporary projects on stalled sites or under utilised open spaces.
