  • Queer Poetry Club at Gravitas - An intimate gathering for queer poets or poetry fans, to bring, share and discuss spoken word pieces.
  • Category Is Books - Category Is Books is an independent LGBTQIA+ bookshop in the southside of Glasgow.
  • LGBT Health and Wellbeing - Established in 2003, LGBT Health and Wellbeing works to improve the health, wellbeing and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in Scotland.
  • Pride Glasgow - Pride Glasgow is a registered charity best known for holding the annual Pride Glasgow festival, where thousands come to celebrate LGBT equality. We host the largest celebration of its kind in Scotland. We have a rich history of celebrating Pride in Scotland.
  • Meetup: Glasgow Lesbian Scene (Facebook) - Hello, are you looking to expand your lesbian social circle? Are you over 21? Then maybe the Glasgow Lesbian Scene Meetup is for you! We're a fun and friendly bunch of women from Glasgow and beyond, who like to engage in a variety of activities such as bowling, pool, hill walking and cycling trips to name but a few, as well as a Sunday coffee catch up and nights out. Our activities are created by you, for you, so come share your ideas and we'll see what we can arrange!
  • Meetup: Well Proud Glasgow - Bringing people together and connecting queer communities in inclusive and affirmative spaces across Glasgow. Our programme of social events comes out every quarter (3 months) with a range of meetups and activities for people to meet one another and connect to our local community. Events include drop-by catch ups, film nights, community discussions, wellbeing activities, creative groups, activist collectives and many more.
  • Small Trans Library - Library events in Glasgow bring the community together in local artistic spaces, with recurring events centering on creativity and safety among your trans peers.

  • LEAP Sports Scotland (Twitter) - (Leadership, Equality and Active Participation in Sports for LGBTI people in Scotland) works for greater inclusion for LGBTI people in sport and against homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in a sports context. We are committed to breaking down the structural, social and personal barriers which prevent lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people across the country from accessing, participating and excelling in Scottish sports.
  • Resistance Roller Derby Glasgow - We are a sports club for queer and trans people who want to play the wonderful sport of roller derby in a feminist space for learning, growing, increasing our skills, and embracing the revolutionary potential of this sport.
  • Glasgow FrontRunners: Glasgow's LGBT Running Club (Facebook, Twitter) - Glasgow FrontRunners is an award-winning inclusive community based road-running group with strong links to Glasgow’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and friends.

  • Make Mondays Volleyball - Brand new initiative for LGBTQI+ persons of all ages: Social volleyball. Come along to learn basic warm ups and play for fun, specially lowered net height to build up confidence. Perfect for beginners or those returning to volleyball after a gap.
  • Rainbow Glasgaroos: Basketball in Glasgow (Twitter, Linktree) - Have you ever wanted to take part in a sport but feel it is too competitive and serious? Want to get fit, meet new people or just try something new? Well the Rainbow Glasgaroos could be for you! We are a casual LGBTIQ+ basketball group that is open to everyone!
  • Saltire Thistle FC (Twitter) - Scotland’s most successful LGBT inclusive football team.
  • Truegrip Badminton - An amateur and social LGBT badminton club that plays on Thursday evenings from 8pm till 10pm at Badminton Academy at Scotstoun Leisure Centre Glasgow.


  • Proud Business - Proud Business is a LGBTQ meet up group for business owners and freelancers. Proud Business was born out of concern that there are many self employed individuals out there who may not have the representation or support that they need. The meetups are casual and apolitical, focused on creating a safe space for people to share their experiences, challenges and find like-minded people.
  • New Practice - New Practice is a women and LGBTQ+ led architecture practice based between Glasgow and London. We exist to develop the community, creative and cultural capacity of cities and to connect people with the decision making processes that underpin the urban experience.

  • Metropolitan Community Church in Glasgow - We are an inclusive church founded by LGBT people of faith in Glasgow. We are part of an international Christian denomination, UFMCC, founded in and reaching beyond the LGBT+ communities.
