For Kids in Glasgow

  • Dumbreck Outdoor Playbarn - Dumbreck Outdoor Playbarn is a real barn, in a real stable yard, with real mud. This is a place where urban kids get to invent, explore and get dirty, and where much-loved toys get to go on big outdoor adventures.
  • Movement Park - Movement park is a Glasgow-based charity, that first opening its doors in Whiteinch, Glasgow in March 2017. We use sport and movement-based activities to enhance the lives of the local community. Based in our converted warehouse, Movement Park is an innovative urban-sports facility, with both indoor and outdoor space, providing opportunities for all ages to actively unleash their potential.
  • The Children's Wood and North Kelvin Meadow - The Children’s Wood on North Kelvin Meadow, and the Meadow itself, make up the last wild space in the west-end of Glasgow. This space is vitally important to the community. Regular events are organised by the community in The Children’s Wood, designed to connect children to nature, raise aspirations and bring people together.

  • The Experience - The Experience is an award-winning, five-star themed entertainment and events venue just minutes from Braehead. Owned by the Kibble Group, one of Scotland’s oldest child and youth care charities, The Experience houses Scotland’s only indoor electric go-karting track plus laser tag, the Refuel Café, and a conference centre.
  • The Loading Bay - Indoor skateboard and bike park

  • Play Together on Pedals Glasgow - A preschool and family cycling project offering year round free drop-in sessions across Glasgow for under 5s to gain cycling skills and progress from balance bikes to pedals.

Last Sunday

  • Baby Disco at The Sparkle Horse - Last Sunday of every month. 1pm til 3pm. - A free event which takes place on the last Sunday of the month and allows parents to socialise while the kids get a dance on to the kind of music the adults have never really grown out of. The bar opens at 12pm with food being served all day and the music kicks off at 1pm.
