Glasgow Girls Club -
Beginning life as a singular Facebook group – providing a forum for Glasgow women to come together and share recommendations and advice, promote their own businesses and help each other to grow + glow both professionally and personally – it has now grown to just under 20,000 women.

Belles on Bikes Glasgow (

Belles on Bikes is a social cycling group for women in Glasgow. Open to all ages and abilities, this group is about building your cycle confidence and meeting women with a shared interest or desire to get back on the saddle! We are trying to introduce as many 'types' of cycling as possible including short road rides, off road rides, bike maintenance sessions, beginner session and even track cycling taster lessons!

Women's Heritage Walks -
Glasgow Women’s Library’s Women Make History group launched Glasgow’s first Women’s Heritage Walk in June 2007 as part of the West End Festival programme. There are now 6 different walks around the city and a Heritage Bike Ride for those who prefer to travel on two wheels. Walks are open to all and give a unique and inspiring insight into the hitherto unsung women who made Glasgow; pipe-smoking forewomen, revolting schoolmistresses, suffragettes, the brazen women of Glasgow Green, Battling Betty, and many, many more!

Ubuntu Women Shelter is a Glasgow-based charity dedicated to meeting the short term, 72 hours – 1 week/ emergency accommodation needs of women with no recourse to public funds.
