  • Glasgow Childen's Panel - Around 3,000 amazing people volunteer to be part of the Children’s Hearings Scotland volunteer community. They are here to make sure that all Scotland’s infants, children and young people feel safe, loved, valued and respected. It’s an important role that is hugely rewarding.
  • Volunteer with Scouts - Our adult volunteers get just as much out of Scouting as our young people do. As well as helping young people to enjoy the adventure of Scouting, you’ll also have fun, make friends, develop new skills and have unforgettable experiences.

  • Lambhill Stables - There are many areas that you can volunteer. These include our bike hub, cafe and kitchen or our extensive gardens which are always requiring attention

Military Cadets

  • Sea Cadets: Volunteer - We need people who are happy to roll up their sleeves, get involved, and make a positive difference to teenagers who are often struggling in today’s world and their communities.
  • Army Cadets: Volunteering - The benefits of volunteering with the Army Cadet Force are varied, from learning new skills, meeting people, taking on challenges and gaining valuable experience. You do not need a military background and we will provide all the training you require. If you’re ready to volunteer, register your interest to volunteer and we will arrange for you to come in and meet us and find out more.
  • RAF Air Cadets: Join as an adult volunteer - Over 20? Seeking a new challenge? Would you like to develop skills, leadership qualities and gain qualifications too? At Air Cadets, we constantly assess our past achievements, implement changes to meet the challenges of today and make plans for the future. And a huge part of that planning is you. As the backbone of our organisation we're always on the look out for high-calibre individuals to become volunteers, helping to run the activities that play such an important role in the lives of our young members.

Seniors

  • LEAP: Volunteering - Each year LEAP's befriending and handyperson volunteers, based throughout our Lanarkshire locations, provide tens of thousands of hours support to our clients, with our handyperson volunteers carrying out more than 2,000 jobs, from cleaning windows to assembling flat-pack furniture.
  • Glasgow's Golden Generation - Volunteering - To volunteer with Glasgow’s Golden Generation you do not have to have any formal qualifications, nor do you need to have any previous volunteering experience. What you do need is an enthusiasm for the role and a willingness to make a difference to someone’s life. We offer many different opportunities, suited to any interests you may have!

Sport

  • Hillhead Jordanhill RFC - Volunteering - We are looking for people who would like to put something back into the club and the sport they love. Volunteering to help manage, promote and grow our club presents some exciting opportunities. You can gain some new business or social media skills, mentor and support others, or enjoy being part of a great Glasgow rugby club.
