  • The Glasgow Guardian - The Glasgow Guardian is an award winning volunteer newspaper at the University of Glasgow. independently informing its students since 1932. The Glasgow Guardian has a long history of investigative journalism and holding the university to account
  • Press Start - Press Start is an open access, peer-reviewed student journal that publishes the best undergraduate and (post)graduate research from across the multidisciplinary subject of game studies. The Editorial Board and reviewers are comprised of students and recent graduates.

Community News

  • Greater Govanhill Magazine - We want to create a FREE magazine, both print and online, to celebrate the differences that make Govanhill so special, shining a light on the people and projects at work in the area, and bringing them together. The publication, run from a community interest company, will be not-for-profit.

We are based in the north end of the city around the Maryhill area, but are happy to publish news from all over the Glasgow and even beyond, if it has relevance to our local communities.

The Glasgow Sloth aims to address the allegations that journalism has become ‘churnalism’ by giving more time to develop stories, focusing on angles that have been missed or ignored.
